A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Still have a question? Talk to us

How can I start a presentation?

Start with a blank slide or choose an editable template for a pitch, project kickoff, quarterly review, sales presentation, lesson, and more. Replace the example content and adapt the theme and layouts to your story.

Can I use an existing PowerPoint deck?

Yes. Import a PPTX and continue editing its supported content. Review the warnings and layout: SmartArt, live charts, embedded media, and PowerPoint animation timelines are not carried across.

How much can I customize each slide?

Work with themes and layouts, format text, crop images, and add shapes, tables, and charts. Align, group, and arrange objects in layers to refine the composition without rebuilding every slide from scratch.

How can AI help with a presentation?

Draft an outline or presentation, rewrite slide text, translate content, and prepare speaker notes. Review suggestions before applying them. AI needs a connection and an available service; image generation and web research are not included.

Can I add transitions and animations?

Yes. Choose slide transitions and animate individual objects with effects such as appear, fade, fly, and zoom. Set effects to run on click, with the previous effect, or after it, then preview the sequence before presenting.

Can I present with speaker notes?

Yes. Add notes and planned timings to each slide. Presenter view shows your notes, the next slide, and elapsed time in a separate browser window while the audience sees the presentation. Allow pop-ups if the presenter window is blocked.

Which formats can I export?

Download PPTX, PDF, PNG, JPEG, SVG, or a Markdown or plain-text outline. Print layouts also support handouts and speaker notes. Charts become editable shapes in PPTX, and some effects or media are simplified; review the export warnings and finished file.

Where is my presentation saved?

Slides saves your work in this browser, with local version checkpoints you can name, preview, and restore. Account sync and sharing require an available connected service. Check the save status and download a separate copy of important presentations.

Do I need a separate account for each service?

No. Your AppStruct account gives you one place to access the services in your dashboard. See the pricing page for current plans and limits. View pricing →
