KEEP THE CONTEXT WITH THE NUMBERS
Less back-and-forth.
More shared understanding.
Put a question beside the cell it refers to. Give workspace teammates the right role and keep a way back to earlier work.
- Talk about the detail.
Comment on cells, reply in threads and resolve the discussion.
- A role for the next step.
Choose viewer, commenter or editor access for workspace teammates.
- Keep important ranges deliberate.
Protect a sheet or range and choose who can edit those cells.
Account sharing and server version history require a connection to the Sheets service. Check the workbook’s save status.

How can I start a spreadsheet?
Start with a blank workbook or choose a monthly budget, task tracker, invoice, habit tracker, or content calendar. Each template is editable, so you can adapt the structure and add sheets as you go.
Can I work with Excel files?
Yes. Import XLSX, XLSM, XLSB, XLS, ODS, CSV, TSV, or text files. Each sheet supports up to 5,000 rows and 260 columns. Complex workbooks may contain unsupported features or exceed import limits; check the import report, formatting, and key calculations.
Which calculations can I use?
Use formulas for totals, conditions, lookups, dates, text, and more. Reference other sheets, define named ranges, and build reusable named functions. When importing a workbook, verify its formulas rather than assuming every Excel function behaves identically.
Can I build reports inside Sheets?
Yes. Summarize data with pivot tables, explore it with filters and slicers, and highlight patterns with charts and conditional formatting. Charts and pivot summaries update when their source cells change.
How can AI help with my spreadsheet?
Describe a calculation to get a suggested formula, generate a table, or ask for analysis and data cleanup. Review the preview before inserting a formula or table, and check the result against your data. AI needs a connection and an available AI service.
Can I review a spreadsheet with my team?
When connected, give existing AppStruct teammates in the same workspace Viewer, Commenter, or Editor access. Discuss individual cells in comment threads. Connected version history lets editors save, name, preview, and restore workbook versions.
How can I export my work?
Download the workbook as Excel XLSX, export the current sheet’s calculated values as CSV, or create a PDF with print settings for a sheet, a selection, or the workbook. Review the output when your workbook uses complex formatting or features.
Where is my spreadsheet saved?
Sheets saves your work in this browser and syncs with your account when the Sheets service is available and connected. Check the save status, especially when offline, and export a separate copy of important work.
Do I need a separate account for each service?
No. Your AppStruct account gives you one place to access the services in your dashboard. See the pricing page for current plans and limits. View pricing →
