A LITTLE MORE FOCUS ON THE CONVERSATION

Choose the setting
you want to bring.

Keep your surroundings, soften them with blur or choose a preset photo background. Give yourself a setting that feels right for the room.

  • A choice of photo backgrounds.

Explore six presets, including Fjord, Coast, Hills, Falls, Valley and Sunset.

  • A simpler backdrop.

Use background blur when you want less visual detail behind you.

  • A camera setting you control.

Change the effect or return to your original background during the call.

Background effects require an active camera and a supported browser and graphics environment.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Still have a question? Talk to us

How do people join my meeting?

Start a meeting and use Invite people to copy its invitation link or share the meeting code. Participants can open the link or paste the code or supported AppStruct invite into Meet.

Do participants need an account?

Yes. Both hosts and participants sign in to an AppStruct account. Meetings run in the browser, so a separate meeting app is not required.

Can I check my devices before joining?

Yes. Check the camera preview, choose your camera and microphone, and set whether each is on before joining. You can enter with both off and turn them on during the call.

Can I share my screen?

On a supported browser, use the screen-sharing control and choose the screen, window, or tab offered by your browser. Browser and operating-system permissions apply; available sharing options vary by device.

Can I blur or change my background?

Yes. With your camera on during the call, open Background effects and choose blur or a preset photo background. Effects depend on browser and graphics support, so some devices may not offer them.

Can I send messages during a call?

Yes. Open the in-call chat to exchange messages and links with people in the room. Keep important decisions in your notes or AppStruct Chat when you need a lasting follow-up.

What do I need for a call?

You need an internet connection, a supported browser, and an available Meet service. Allow access to the camera and microphone you want to use. If a device cannot start, you can join with both off and try the controls again.

Are meetings recorded or summarized automatically?

Recording, transcription, and automatic AI summaries are not available in the current Meet interface. Keep notes during the call if you need decisions and action items afterwards.

Do I need a separate account for each service?

No. Your AppStruct account gives you one place to access the services in your dashboard. See the pricing page for current plans and limits. View pricing →
